According to the interim scrutineers' report, approximately 2/3 of Empire's shareholders attended the meeting in person or by proxy, demonstrating overwhelming support for management by re-electing incumbent directors Robert Giustra, David Cliff, and Professor Michael Johnson to the board. All of management's other proposals to shareholders were successful at the meeting.
